There’s a little-known entrepreneur in Western Australia called Jan Denford. She’s a humble housewife who, until recently, suffered from extreme bouts of cold in winter.

She tried to keep warm with traditional throw-rugs and blankets but found her toes kept coming un-tucked from around her feet letting cold air in, and warm air out. She tried using the heater, but found it impossible to judge and regulate the temperature so that everyone felt warm at the same time. It became such a problem for her, she invested twelve months of her life searching high and low for a solution.
