Podlett Partner Program

The Podlett range of products are unique, innovative, and fun.  Originally developed by West-Australian based entrepreneur Jan Denford, the Podlett is the ultimate solution to fighting off the 'chills' while sitting on the lounge relaxing or when traveling by car or plane.

What is the Podlett Partner Program?

As of October 2006, the product range is now manufactured and distributed globally through the Invenco Product Network.  With recent improvements in production quality and capacity, as well as the addition of the new Baby and Kids size Podletts, the product range is now ready to launch a Partner Program that will allow individuals and retail partner channels to access the products on a wholesale basis.

Who Is The Program Open To?

The program provides flexibility for us to partner with Retail Stores, Online E-Commerce Retailers, and Individuals who have the capacity and 'reach' required to help take these products to market.  This flexibility is delivered through the three levels of the Partner Program:

Level 1: Referral Partner

• You demonstrate sample Podlett products and assist the customer in placing their order via Mail / Fax Back Order Forms or online.

• The customer pays us directly for their order, and we ship the goods directly to them.

• You receive commission payments from us on a regular basis for orders processed by your customers.

Level 2: Drop-Ship Partner

• You demonstrate samples and promote the products through your retail, online, or local presence.

• You order the goods directly from us only after your customers place an order with you.

• You pay us for the goods at your discounted partner rate, and we drop-ship the order directly to the customer's nominated shipping address.

Level 3: Wholesale Partner

• You demonstrate samples and promote the products through your retail, online, or local presence

• You purchase and maintain your desired stock levels at wholesale partner rates, ready for resale to your customers.

• There is no minimum quantity per order, but your wholesale discount increases if you order whole carton quantities of each item.

You can choose to operate at any one of these levels, or perhaps a combination of all three as you get to know the product better and your needs change.  Review your options in a little more detail below.

How do I start with minimal financial commitment?

The fastest and easiest way to begin promoting the products with minimal financial commitment is by operating as a Level 1: Referral Partner.  At this level you don't need to worry about handling the payment and logistics aspects of your customer's orders. 

You simply show them product samples and share your own honest experiences with the product.  Allowing the potential customer to 'try on' a Podlett is always the best way for them to get a feel for what it's really like to be wrapped in a Podlett.  You can then help the potential customer to fill out an order form, or to place an order online. 

Your order forms will be pre-filled with your special Partner Code that allows us to 'tag' the order to you for commission calculation.  If the potential customer doesn't want to place an order there and then, you can give them a product brochure which is also coded with your Partner Code to tag any future orders that the customer may place directly with us. 

Commissions are calculated at a rate equal to the Partner Discount for the given retail order size.  (Note that commission is calculated on the net selling price of the products, exclusive of any GST or Shipping & Handling charges.  As this is NOT intended to be a multi-level commission system, commissions are only calculated for sales to direct retail customers and not for sales made to other partners.)

I like to 'own' my customers, but don't like to hold stock...

If you own and operate a physical or online retail store and like to 'own' your customers but are concerned about the cost of holding large amounts of inventory, then operating as a Level 2: Drop-Ship Partner may be a good option for you.  At this level, you only have to handle the payment aspect of your customer's orders while we manage the logistical aspects. 

You simply demonstrate the product and communicate its benefits.  You make the sale directly to your customer by setting your price and collecting payment.  While processing the sale you explain that the item is a special order and that you can either 'order it in' for them to come and pick-up, or that you can have it sent directly to them.  If your customer gives you the go-ahead, you then place an order with us and provide payment for the order at your discounted rate. 

You set the prices that you will charge your customers, using the current product price list as a guide.

I'd like to carry stock so that my customers don't have to wait for delivery...

If you have confidence in your ability to sell reasonable quantities of Podletts, and would like to maximize your financial return from doing so, you may consider operating as a Level 3: Wholesale Partner.  At this level, you control all payment and logistical aspects of your customer's orders by purchasing inventory from us in quantities of your choice. 

You can just purchase small quantities to begin with if you like, there's no minimum order, and then increase your orders to whole carton quantities to maximize your wholesale discount down the track.  You set the prices that you will charge your customers, using the current product price list as a guide.
